Playground @ Changi Airport Terminal 1, Singapore

There are lots of free playground in Singapore. From neighbourhood playground to shopping mall playground to playground in airport. Most of the playground are free except those proper indoor playground with huge slides, ball etc.

Airport playground is cool cause we get to see aeroplane, it is fully air con and the playground are clean.

Time for some playground. This playground is situated at the public area, there are also bigger playground located after check in which we will visit if we are travelling (we usually arrive slightly early so that the kids can play at the playground before boarding).

There is also a toilet just next to the playground, facilities are very well situated!

Great for family/ friends bonding- KUKUP 2 day 1 night TRIP

Situated in Pontian District, Johor, Malaysia- KUKUP Fishing Village is a wonderful place for family/friends bonding.  The chalets are build on the sea and there is not much attractions around the area so basically most activities are done in or around the chalet which is great for bonding. There is no place to park the car in front of the chalet as all of the chalets are build on water, so do park your car (if you are driving) at the designated car park before the jetty. We parked at JJ Carpark (RM7 for 24 hours) and the staff send us to the jetty area using his van. We can then walk or take a boat to the chalet.  We decided to walk....and we manage to enjoyed a cooling and refreshing coconut pudding on the way... Kidzoona indoor playground at Jusco Bukit Indah, Johor, Malaysia.

We recently brought the kids to Kizoona at Jusco Bukit Indah. I find it very worth it in terms of the price and the facilities are also pretty good.  The place is not big but there is enough things for the kids to spend a few hours there... Includes bouncing castle, some individual shops (flower shop, cafe, supermarket for kids to play around), a big pool of ball, some cars, and a huge rolling ball-like thing where kids can go in and rotate. Fully air conditioned and there is only one entrance to go in and out. Parents can stay inside to accompany your kids at no additional charge. Just remember to bring your own socks otherwise have to purchase before going in. Toilet is not in the playground so there only cons is have to bring the kids out to toilet. Winter in Perth 2014 (Day 1 and 2)

First travel blog post on our 2 weeks trip to Perth, Australia in June/July 2014. This is our first solo family trip abroad (2 adults to 2 kids). Tulipmania 2015...Fairy tales unfold at Garden by The Bay, Singapore

The last time we visited Flower Dome @ Garden by The Bay is about 2 years plus ago, when I am still pregnant with Justin... Time flies, boy boy is now 28 months old, big boy already. From now till 10 May 2015, Garden by The Bay will be displaying tulips with fairy tales theme.  Fairy tales unfold at Tulipmania Entrance tickets can be purchased on-site or you could skip the Q by purchasing the tickets  online . This time round, we only purchase the tickets for Flower Dome as we had visited the Cloud Forest before. Kennett River Holiday Park Review (Great Ocean Road- MELBOURNE)

While exploring and enjoying the beauty of Great Ocean Road, we stayed at 2 accommodations along the way. One of it is at the beginning part of Great Ocean Road at Kennett River. Grey River which is nearby is famous for frequent sighting of koala bears on its eucalyptus tree and there are a couple of koalas who resides at the trees on the grounds of the Kennett River Holiday Park, a holiday park which we booked for one night. It was a really comfortable stay and we had a good rest here despite only staying for one night. We opted for a couple cabin which consists of a common area (sofa, kitchenettes and dining table), bedroom and toilet. We paid AUD$115 for non-peak time tariff. Travel tips to Perth in Winter

My first travel post will be sharing our family winter trip in Perth.  HOW LONG TO GO: Our trip is 2 weeks long as part of it is hubby's business trip, a trip of 5-7 days will be sufficient. For those planning for a trip this June School Holiday , Perth is actually quite a nice place to go. In contrary to normal believe that weather is bad in Australia in winter, we actually find it quite cooling and not too windy or rainy as long as you avoid Busselton and Margaret River area. Focus your trip to Perth up to Rockingham and anywhere to the north of Perth will have cooling and sunny weather most of the time. Check out the Perth weather forecast   here. It ranges between 8 to 18 degree Celsius throughout and it is quite cooling and nice! Winter in MELBOURNE 2016- Day 8

Day 8 Today we woke up at 8.15am. I heat up the red bean bun and pancake from yesterday for breakfast! The kids have not ate chinese style breakfast so many days so they enjoyed it very much. Red bean Bao By 10.30am, we left the hotel and took the free city tram to Victoria Market. It is a mere one tram stop away and we could walk if we wanted to but the weather is very cold so we rather catch the tram. Parking at the market is $8 for first two hours so tram is a better choice since we did not plan to buy too many things from the market... We spend about an hour at the market, they sell basically everything under the sun. From cheese, sausages to fresh seafood, meat (pork, beef, chicken) to souvenirs and fruits. We bought some fresh salmon, a huge squid and some strawberries.  There is two parts to the market (indoor and outdoor), fruits are cheaper at the outdoor area.. Somerset on Elizabeth Hotel Review (Service Apartment, MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA)

We stayed for 3 nights at Somerset on Elizabeth during our Melbourne trip. We are very satisfied with the hotel. Located in a very central location, there are no lack of wonderful cafe and restaurants nearby. Even huge departmental store, a four storey H&M are all located within walking distances. This is definitely a good choice if you are looking for a very centrally located hotel (service apartment). There is a tram stop just within minutes from the hotel as well. We love the fact that the washer and dryer, and a small kitchenette is available. Very good amenities when you have kids travelling with you. Living room with a comfy sofa, fully carpetted. Staycation @ Crowne Plaza Changi Airport, Singapore

How often does one step foot in Changi Airport and not catching a flight or picking someone up? For those who are staying in the east of Singapore, some might just go to the airport and enjoy their facilities, had some food, play at the playground or even do some groceries shopping. I think I am a little outdated as I did not even know that Changi Airport has NTUC as well (and their prices are not more expensive that the rest of NTUC). However, for someone like me who stay in the West, I hardly step foot at Changi Airport unless I am flying off someone or picking up someone. For me to take a MRT or drive to Changi Airport is a big commitment as it is not exactly near and there are so many nearby playground and shopping mall that I can enjoy within minutes from my house.  I hardly walk around the airport properly as I am usually rushing to catch a flight. Winter in MELBOURNE 2016-Day 2

The next morning, everyone wakes up, feeling energised after a good rest. We had breakfast at home and got ready by 10.30am. Drinking water while sitting on his favourite exercise bike. He says its for kids cause the size is just nice for him. OOTD shot before leaving the house A photo by the porch, we are ready! Explore the backyard before leaving, otherwise will be all dark by the time we get back! First stop for today is the Koala Conservatory Centre. It is included in the 3 park passes we purchased yesterday.  Some fun facts of Southern Koalas So where is the koalas kiddo? "There! We spotted one" We spend about 1.5 hours here. There is some fun facts and exhibition at the centre (koalas diet, digestive system, population etc) and a broad walk/park which visitor can walk around, having fun spotting the koalas.
