Playground @ Changi Airport Terminal 1, Singapore

There are lots of free playground in Singapore. From neighbourhood playground to shopping mall playground to playground in airport. Most of the playground are free except those proper indoor playground with huge slides, ball etc.

Airport playground is cool cause we get to see aeroplane, it is fully air con and the playground are clean.

Time for some playground. This playground is situated at the public area, there are also bigger playground located after check in which we will visit if we are travelling (we usually arrive slightly early so that the kids can play at the playground before boarding).

There is also a toilet just next to the playground, facilities are very well situated!

Indoor Wildlife Centre in UAE- a great place to escape the heat during the summer months!

It is not easy to find places to entertain the kids in the summer that doesn't involves shopping mall, indoor playground or just chilling at home with TV/games. We all would prefer to minimise screen time and kids love the nature. So, when I came across a wildlife park that is fully indoor, I make it a point to bring the kids. It is in Sharjah, google "Sharjah Desert Park" and it's about 30-40 mins drive from Dubai. The entrance fees is AED 15 for adults and absolutely free for kids under 12 years old. Payment is made at the entrance as you drive in and you can enter the 4 sections inside in the park with the same ticket---> Arabia's Wildlife Centre, Children's Farm, Islamic Botanical Garden and Sharjah Natural History Museum.  ARABIA'S WILDLIFE CENTRE Our favourite is the Arabia's Wildlife Centre. Kidzoona indoor playground at Jusco Bukit Indah, Johor, Malaysia.

We recently brought the kids to Kizoona at Jusco Bukit Indah. I find it very worth it in terms of the price and the facilities are also pretty good.  The place is not big but there is enough things for the kids to spend a few hours there... Includes bouncing castle, some individual shops (flower shop, cafe, supermarket for kids to play around), a big pool of ball, some cars, and a huge rolling ball-like thing where kids can go in and rotate. Fully air conditioned and there is only one entrance to go in and out. Parents can stay inside to accompany your kids at no additional charge. Just remember to bring your own socks otherwise have to purchase before going in. Toilet is not in the playground so there only cons is have to bring the kids out to toilet. Great for family/ friends bonding- KUKUP 2 day 1 night TRIP

Situated in Pontian District, Johor, Malaysia- KUKUP Fishing Village is a wonderful place for family/friends bonding.  The chalets are build on the sea and there is not much attractions around the area so basically most activities are done in or around the chalet which is great for bonding. There is no place to park the car in front of the chalet as all of the chalets are build on water, so do park your car (if you are driving) at the designated car park before the jetty. We parked at JJ Carpark (RM7 for 24 hours) and the staff send us to the jetty area using his van. We can then walk or take a boat to the chalet.  We decided to walk....and we manage to enjoyed a cooling and refreshing coconut pudding on the way... Winter in Perth 2014 (Day 1 and 2)

First travel blog post on our 2 weeks trip to Perth, Australia in June/July 2014. This is our first solo family trip abroad (2 adults to 2 kids). Previously we had travel abroad with the kids but with additional help from our extended families members! SECOND HONEYMOON : 10 Days @ United Kingdom and Switzerland (Day 4)

Day 4 Today is the highlight of our trip and the main reason why we planned this vacation :) We are finally back in Nottingham after graduating for 8 years (9 years for hubby) ! Nottingham may not be a popular town to visit for those coming from holiday overseas (except probably for the Robin Hood Pageant which is held each year in October) but it does hold significant meaning to hubby and me and probably those who had studied here before.  As we had slept pretty early yesterday, we woke up at 6 plus and by 7am, we are ready to explore! We walked to Beeston as it is quite near to Willoughby Hall where we stayed. On our way to Beeston, we passed by Broadgate Park where I stayed during my final 2 years in Nottingham. Hong Kong Macao Travelogue March 2016 -Day 5 (FINAL)

Today is our last day in Hong Kong and our flight is at 2 plus in the afternoon. So, we had some time in the morning to check out dim sum in Hong Kong.  What to order... So many choices... Garden Restaurant which is just a few steps away from our hotel... Dig in.... Dim sum @ Garden Restaurant is generally good and price is reasonable too.  We checked out of the hotel, and took bus A21 back to airport (Cost HKD$33) and it brings us straight to Terminal 2. From there, we got our Octopus Card refunded. We also manage to get some last minute goodies from Kee Wah Bakery. After checking in, we had to take a train to Terminal 1 where all the boarding gates are located.  For lunch, dad finally got to taste goose meat that he had been wanting to eat before leaving HK. Sunway Pyramid Resort and Spa Hotel Review, Bandar Sunway, Malaysia!

Belated post We visited Sunway Pyramid Resort and Spa couple of months back! This is by far the best hotel we had stayed in Malaysia.  Located at Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya, this hotel is just next to the popular waterpark, Sunway Lagoon.  Prices are not cheap but it is worth it if you would like to splurge a little for special occasion.  We opt for the normal room as the junior suite is way too expensive (we stayed in Junior Suite once few years back when they have promotion and the room is amazing) The normal deluxe room is not as big as the junior suite but it is enough for the 4 of us. Hubby,me and our girl sleep on the bed and our boy slept in a baby cot provided. Fluffy and comfy bed Some of the amenities in the room... Kuala Lumpur Getaway October 2014--- Colmar Tropicale and KidZania (Part 1)

We had been to Kuala Lumpur (KL), Malaysia a couple of times so wanted to do something different this time round. Our initial plan was to go watch turtles in Terengganu or Cherating, but the car journey there is quite long and we only have a couple of day for this getaway so decided to go KL instead. Intially, the plan is to travel to Colmar Tropicale and stay one night there. Then travel to KL and stay 2 nights. Later on, decided to just stay all 3 nights in KL so that we don't need to move our luggage around. Plus, Colmar Tropicale is about an hour away from KL so we could do a day trip from KL. KidZania is situated in Petaling Jaya so we decided to try out Hilton Petaling Jaya... 11th October 2014 Departing JB at 9.30am, we began our journey...30 minutes down the road, little boy fall asleep and he only wakes up 2 hours later so we had a pretty peaceful trip.  Halfway through, little girl commented "Mummy, I am very happy we can go to KL"... that is so...

Montigo Resort Review, Batam, Indonesia

Back in April, mummy got a 2 days 1 night well deserved break in Montigo Resort with her secondary school mates. It was a great "weekend" and away from the hustle and bustle of the city and my kiddies... Situated near NongsaPura Ferry Terminal in Batam, this is one of the two ferry routes from Singapore. Route A takes you from HarbourFront Ferry Terminal to Sekupang Batam which is nearer to the "Batam city centre". If you would like to visit their shopping mall and go out walk walk, staying near hotel in Sekupang would be more ideal. Route B takes you from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to NongsaPura which has nicer view resort and guests usually likes to stay in just to enjoy the facilities and have bonding time with friends and family. Montigo Resorts are one of the better ones around NongsaPura Ferry Terminal and all rooms have private pool so you could bask in the pool all day and all night long if you would like to. Eat, Sleep, Shop and Play @ Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

We had a wonderful 5 days 4 nights at Sunway Resort and Spa. It was a wonderful road trip, relaxing as we had plenty of rest.
