5 Places To Visit In Perth With Kids
Australia in general is quite kid's friendly. From their city centre transportation to kiddy meals in restaurant. All major supermarket also features a great variety of kid's friendly snack including organic variety. In terms of attractions, lots of wildlife park and farm around to ensure great times for kids to get up-close to animals encounter. Parks are plentiful too and kids can really roam freely around the green grass.
There are lots of things to do around Perth city centre and its nearby places. These are the 10 places that I think is worth a visit if you are visiting Perth with your kids.
1. King's Park
A huge park in the midst of the Perth city centre offers great view of Swan River from Fraser's Lookout Point. One could enjoy a picnic overlooking the pretty Swan River.

3. Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm
Can't get enough of animal encounters? Visit Cuddly Animal Farm at Swan Valley for more feeding. Goat, llama, rabbit etc... They even have a pony ride at AUD$5!

2. Caversham Wildlife Park
About half an hour drive from Perth City Centre, Caversham Wildlife Park offers close encounters with animals. One can feed kangaroos (lots of them), stroke a koala bear, milk the cow and take picture with a wombat!
The park is relatively good size to ensure a half to full day fun time!

3. Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm

4. Perth Zoo

If you want to see animals but did not want to venture away from the city centre, Perth Zoo is situated in the city itself. Will guarantee a half day fun as well :) But do note that it is more of viewing animals, visitors are not allowed to feed the animals.

5. Margaret River Chocolate Company
Which kids does not ADORE chocolate? Take a short trip to Margaret River Chocolate Factory. Indulge in their unlimited supplies of free mini chocolate buttons (dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate).
If you are tired, take a rest at their mini cafe and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate. Life is bliss!

If you are feeling adventurous, head down south to Rockingham Wild Encounter for penguin, dolphin and sea lion encounter. Do note that Penguin Island is closed from early June to 14 September each year for winter nesting season. During winter, cruises are still available to view dolphin and sea lion.
Busselton Jetty, the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere is 2 and a half hours away from Perth. They feature an underwater observatory to enjoy underwater creatures such as corals, fishes etc.
