Eat, Sleep, Shop and Play @ Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

We had a wonderful 5 days 4 nights at Sunway Resort and Spa. It was a wonderful road trip, relaxing as we had plenty of rest.

Our first stop is at a random petrol station and got the kids some fun toy with candy and they are very satisfied, play with their new toy on the way to KL.

For lunch, we stopped by Seremban to try this Lucky King Bun, a very soft and chewy bread with curry chicken in its centre. We also ordered long bean and a tofu. Price is slightly on the pricey side but location is superb as you can see it once you enter Seremban tol.

We then continue our journey to KL and reach close to 4pm.

And yay, we have checked in to our room on the 6th floor. Room 633 shall be our accommodation for the next 4 days. We are facing the pool outside the stretch of villas on 5th floor.

Happy!
First activity for the kids: bath tub
First activity for daddy: sleeping

and for mummy, just lazing around waiting for the kids to be done so that we can go Sunway Pyramid for dinner and shopping!

When the kids are done, we went shopping around Sunway Pyramid as we are still full from lunch. For dinner, we had this awful Japanese food @ Sho Kushiage (Tokyo Kitchen) . So definitely not recommanded to dine here.

Indoor car track
We then went back to the room for the kids to rest as they had a long day. One they are asleep, daddy and mummy went out for some dessert and coffee.

Once in a while, I crave for salted caramel cheesecake. Its yummy!
The next morning, after breakfast, the kids went for a swim after mummy spend much time blowing up their floats... and it is all worth it. Jaclyn loves the float and the water so much.

Time for a swim
Justin only loves playing with water and not playing in water.
Happy girl
There are lots of people at the hotel that day and the swimming pool are pretty packed. We had fun nonetheless...

After a nice swim, we went back to shower and went for lunch at Sunway Pyramid. Kids also bought this super cool colour changing car at Toys R Us. They are so eager to go back to their room to try out the car and no one wants to continue shopping.

They love this car!
After playing this new super cool toy, we nap and for dinner, we catch up with LM. She haven't seen the kids in close to 3 years and the last time I met her was also almost a year ago. I am glad we still keep in touch and stay close despite not meeting often.

The three girls
We had desserts at Plan B, a new cafe and they have a couple of unique flavour cake. We had salted egg cheesecake and Teh Tarik Tiramisu which is nice.
Dessert time...
Love this cool looking salted egg cheesecake!

The next day, we went to Bukit Tinggi. It was a nice drive up and the kids had fun at the animal park. This time round, Xin suddenly became very scared of the animals. There was a period of time when he likes to feed the animal and we visited the zoo pretty often, not sure what has changed.

It was a weekday and not much tourist is around. Hence, all the animals are very hungry. They just ran to us for food....

Our brave girl feeds a lot and she bought 3 packets of animal feeds to feed the animals.

Cost: RM 5 to enter and food cost RM 3 per packets. We also did a pony ride at RM 10 each.

Our rabbit lovers
To enter the Colmar Tropicale area (where the restaurant is situated), need to pay entrance fees of
RM 15 for adult and RM 8 for children. The entrance fees included entrance to Japanese Garden but we did not manage to visit as it was raining.

As it was raining so we cut short our day trip and drove back to KL. It already started to jam when we are back to KL central as people finishes their day at work. For dinner, we ate at Sunway Pyramid and the kids had fun watching the promotional opening for Beauty and The Beast movie which we planned to watch on coming Sunday with Vna and Wen Yen.

After dinner, kids went back to the room to sleep while mummy went to shop. At night, daddy went for laundry. There are some coin operated laundry just across the hotel and charging at RM 5 to wash and RM 5 to dry which is pretty worth it as we had two big bag of laundry.

On our final full day in KL, we kinda overslept and missed the breakfast. So after shower, daddy bought Uncle Tetsu Cheesecake for us to eat before our proper lunch at Tanjong Pulai Bak Kut Teh in Klang. I felt that the standard kinda dropped a bit compared to the one we ate before. Nevertheless, the place is still quite packed.

After lunch, we went to Menara Kuala Lumpur. It is the second highest building in Malaysia. It was a disaster looking for a parking space as it is so limited. Luckily, the staff got us a parking space after we search for some time.

There are a few choices which includes entrance to a few other mini attractions around the area. We opted for Combo B (observation deck and XD theatre). For adult we pay RM 38 and for children is RM 28.

There are also other options such as sky deck and other mini zoo, upside down house etc.
