Tasty Barbeque Buffet @ Barbeque Nation


One of the buffet I would recommend is Barbecue Nation. Reasonable price, quality food and selection of food is good too!




Highlight would be the freshly grill prawn, fish and chicken.  They will also go around serving potatoes, fried corn and grilled chicken wings etc. I especially love their corn, it is soooo good!

Back in April, mummy got a 2 days 1 night well deserved break in Montigo Resort with her secondary school mates. It was a great "weekend" and away from the hustle and bustle of the city and my kiddies... Situated near NongsaPura Ferry Terminal in Batam, this is one of the two ferry routes from Singapore. Route A takes you from HarbourFront Ferry Terminal to Sekupang Batam which is nearer to the "Batam city centre". Winter in Perth 2014 (Day 1 and 2)

First travel blog post on our 2 weeks trip to Perth, Australia in June/July 2014. This is our first solo family trip abroad (2 adults to 2 kids). Westgate Hotel Review (Ximending, Taipei, Taiwan)

We stayed in Westgate Hotel during our trip to Taipei in September 2015. Hotel is generally clean and comfortable. We opted for executive room but our only complain is there is only a really small window with no view at all. Hubby blamed the "lack of sunlight from window" causes us to wake up late everyday but I think we are just generally pretty good in sleeping. Room Room is a good size for Ximending standard. There is a queen size bed, shower, toilet, TV, and a separate living area on a platform. In room safe is provided for safekeeping of expensive items. Bed-queen size. Separate living area.. pretty cosy TV Sink Toilet with multiple cool function-heated seat etc Shower head has good water pressure but the space is quite small. I can't hang my clothes in the shower room as the water will splashes on my clothes. This is how small the shower room is... Winter in Perth 2014 (Day 11 and 12)

Day 11 So, today we are driving back to Perth to spend the last 3 nights of our trip... And we decide to visit a few places on our way back.... First stop:  Bunbury Dolphin Discovery Centre.  We checked online and found that this is their opening hours... The Centre is open daily (except 25th December) as follows: October to May: 8.00am – 4.00pm June to September: 9.00am – 2.00pm Feeling hopeful (cause we haven't manage to go on a few other attractions due to the bad weather), we drove to Bunbury which is an hour drive away.  When we reached it is almost noon time and we were disappointed that no dolphin tour today due to the bad weather...We can still visit the discovery centre if we wanted to... there are some fishes in the tank and some video on the dolphin but we weren't  really interested so decided to give it a miss.  To avoid disappointment do give the centre a call before going down...Some additiona...

Kidzoona indoor playground at Jusco Bukit Indah, Johor, Malaysia.

We recently brought the kids to Kizoona at Jusco Bukit Indah. I find it very worth it in terms of the price and the facilities are also pretty good.  The place is not big but there is enough things for the kids to spend a few hours there... Includes bouncing castle, some individual shops (flower shop, cafe, supermarket for kids to play around), a big pool of ball, some cars, and a huge rolling ball-like thing where kids can go in and rotate. Fully air conditioned and there is only one entrance to go in and out. Parents can stay inside to accompany your kids at no additional charge. Just remember to bring your own socks otherwise have to purchase before going in. Toilet is not in the playground so there only cons is have to bring the kids out to toilet. Kuala Lumpur and Genting Getaway April 2014 (Part 1)

We love going on road trip to Malaysia for various reasons. First, I could just pack anything (I meant anything at all-clothes, pampers, rice grain, thermos etc without worrying about exceeding weight limit) Secondly, I can just dump everything into the car's boot (stroller, luggage, pillows, bolster) Thirdly, food and accommodation is relatively cheaper in Malaysia as compared to Singapore due to the exchange rates so it went easy on our budget :) Lastly, with kiddos on board especially young ones (less than 1 year old) it is easy to go on road trip. It offers great flexibility, anything I want to breast feed, I can just stop and breastfeed at the back seat, anytime we need to change a soil pampers, we could do so either in the car or the nearest changing areas. There is no need to rush for flights, catching trains at certain schedule etc... Great for family/ friends bonding- KUKUP 2 day 1 night TRIP

Situated in Pontian District, Johor, Malaysia- KUKUP Fishing Village is a wonderful place for family/friends bonding.  The chalets are build on the sea and there is not much attractions around the area so basically most activities are done in or around the chalet which is great for bonding. There is no place to park the car in front of the chalet as all of the chalets are build on water, so do park your car (if you are driving) at the designated car park before the jetty. We parked at JJ Carpark (RM7 for 24 hours) and the staff send us to the jetty area using his van. We can then walk or take a boat to the chalet.  We decided to walk....and we manage to enjoyed a cooling and refreshing coconut pudding on the way... Rest 'N' Relax @ Desaru Tunamaya Resort & Spa (3 days 2 nights)

This year for the year end school holiday, after much consideration and pretty last minute, we decided to go for a rest and relax trip at Desaru. Tian Xia Ju Motel Review (Yilan, Taiwan)

We stayed in Tian Xia Ju Motel in Yilan for 3 nights during our trip in September 2015. It was pretty last minute when we booked and we are left with few choices. Review on TripAdvisor is good and we read about lots of free upgrade to huge room so we decided to book for the basic room. Even the basic room is huge in size compared to usual hotel. We were allocated one of the smaller room and it is already 86m2. For us who stayed in Spore, this is probably almost the size of our whole flat. So, yes we did not get upgraded :( but we are very satisfied already as this particular room has this huge sofa that is big enough for both kiddos to sleep. Two Girls Extended Weekend Trip @ Ho Chih Minh, Vietnam (Day 1)

Ho Chih Minh has always been my favourite city. I have visited it a couple of times and when G wanted an extended weekend trip, HCM pops up to my mind. G had never been to HCM and she did not have much expectation at first. I am glad at the end of the trip, both of us enjoyed the city and what it has to offer. G especially loves the colonial building which houses the restaurants and cafe, food is great and we had a good time at the Heli Bar which has amazing view of the city. It was quite a last minute trip. We only confirmed and book the air ticket one week before the trip. We are flying in from different countries so we tried to match our arrival time as much as possible. I arrived about 90 minutes earlier and waiting at the airport for G.
