While exploring and enjoying the beauty of Great Ocean Road, we stayed at 2 accommodations along the way. One of it is at the beginning part of Great Ocean Road at Kennett River. Grey River which is nearby is famous for frequent sighting of koala bears on its eucalyptus tree and there are a couple of koalas who resides at the trees on the grounds of the Kennett River Holiday Park, a holiday park which we booked for one night.
It was a really comfortable stay and we had a good rest here despite only staying for one night.
We opted for a couple cabin which consists of a common area (sofa, kitchenettes and dining table), bedroom and toilet. We paid AUD$115 for non-peak time tariff.

There are koala bears in the holiday park but we didn't manage to see them. We went driving around the area and spotted a koala bear at a tree just outside the holiday park. We did see a wallaby hopping around and some birds chirping away. It was quite fun especially for the kids, they love the animals encounter.

Some of the animals can be found at the grounds besides koala bear |
There is a glow worm walk at the Grey River Picnic Area which is about 5km from the holiday park. If you are interested, can definitely go for it as well! At night there are lots of stars in the sky, it is really pretty so do check it out once it is dark!
There is not much restaurant nearby except a Koala Cafe which is just outside the holiday park. Other restaurant is around 20 minutes drive away! We ended up just eating our own bread with jam, yogurt and fruits as the choices at Koala Cafe is limited and prices are quite steep!
There are parking on site and you can park right outside your cabin. Once arrived, you will be given a code to enter whenever entering and leaving the holiday park.
The park also cater for caravan so if you are driving one, you can rent a space for your caravan as well.
